Exciting new launch: Onsite ProfiDay

10 July 2024

IDX is excited to announce the launch of our onsite ProfiDay offering. This is available to all industries and companies that utilise PROFIBUS and/or PROFINET within their industrial communications systems.

What is ProfiDAY?

A free onsite training programme, where attendees can join interactive training sessions hosted by an IDX engineer.

  • ProfiDay Content
On a scheduled ProfiDay, our engineers will setup interactive demo rigs and video lecture stations on your site, where we will host multiple 1-hour sessions, giving insight into troubleshooting, fault-finding, and best practice standards.
  • Training Session
Your technicians, engineers, and interested parties can attend the training session which features a bootcamp-style video on PROFIBUS and PROFINET, followed by interactive, practical exposure to these technologies.
  • Access to our Experts
Participants will have complete access to our expert Profi-Engineers, who will address questions related to PROFIBUS and PROFINET. Our engineers will offer valuable insights and knowledge on PROFIBUS and PROFINET networks. Multiple sessions will be conducted throughout the day to accommodate everyone’s availability.

Benefits

  • Attendees at ProfiDay will receive fundamental training on both PROFIBUS and PROFINET protocols.
  • They will gain hands-on experience with industry best practices, testing tools, and network components.
  • Access to professionals for any protocol-related queries will be provided.
  • ProfiDay sessions, each lasting sixty minutes, minimise disruption to plant operations while accommodating all interested parties.

Cost

IDX will offer ProfiDay sessions to all industries at no cost. Fees may apply for travel outside of Johannesburg.
