PROFIBUS Fault Finding Tips: Duplicate Addresses

A duplicate address occurs when there is more than one device on a network with the same PROFIBUS address. Duplicate addressing causes severe network failure due to collisions and duplicate telegrams travelling on the bus.

This can be a frustrating issue to deal with but don’t worry, we’re here to help! This video will help you to identify and resolve duplicate addresses on your network.
